Planning & Scheduling

Evans & Peck’s Planning and Scheduling team applies its skills to the planning of capital works and to developing clear strategies for managing and completing the works. The group uses a wide range of programming and scheduling tools including Primavera, Suretrak, Microsoft Project Pertmaster, Openplan, Powerproject, and FastTrack. The group also uses 2D and 3D techniques in the planning of construction methodologies and staging.

The Planning and Scheduling team’s focus is twofold; firstly, on establishing realistic baseline programs at project inception; and secondly, on establishing vigilant progress monitoring systems that allow problems to be identified early so that corrective action can be taken at the right time. Evans & Peck uses ‘Monte Carlo’ analysis software to examine the impact of schedule risks and opportunities. This provides clients with a range of likely outcomes with respect to time and assists in developing accurate and reliable programs with appropriate allowance for contingency.
