Jason Malouf is the Queensland Manager of international infrastructure advisory firm, Evans & Peck.

Jason has more than 25 years experience in the development, procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects and performance improvement in related businesses.  He joined Evans & Peck as a Principal in 2005 and was appointed Queensland Manager in 2009. Prior to joining Evans & Peck, Jason held general management roles and other senior management positions with major Australian and international construction companies.

Since joining Evans & peck, Jason has been a leading strategic, commercial and transaction adviser on public and private infrastructure projects worth more than $6 billion, across the transport, water and resources sectors.  During this time he has also represented state government asset owners through the delivery phase of projects worth more than $2 billion, including key components of the SEQ Water Grid.

Jason has a keen interest in driving value for money outcomes from infrastructure projects and programs.  He was part of the research team for a recent landmark study into value for money from alliance contracting in the public sector and is currently involved in preparing the new project alliance guidelines on behalf of four state treasuries.

Adam is a Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the electricity and energy industries.  His expertise includes project development and feasibility analysis, strategic project planning and operation and maintenance.  Recent experience includes the development of major infrastructure projects incorporating feasibility analysis, negotiation of major procurement contracts (EPC, fuel supply, electricity sales, water sales etc), legislative approvals and arrangements for financial close.  Key projects include:

Garry has over 20 years experience in the construction industry in Australia and overseas.  His background is in Line Management for civil construction contractors, including the roles of Project Manager and Construction Manager.  He has a broad range of construction knowledge encompassing the design and construction of civil projects, particularly large road and railway construction and associated bridges, cut 7 cover tunnels, airport pavements, RCC dam construction and mining infrastructure.  He has a specialist background in the procurement, delivery and maintenance of major infrastructure projects.  Key assignment for Evans & Peck include:

George has 24 years experience in the multidisciplinary construction industry in Australia and Papua New Guinea.  During the last 15 years, George has worked as a consultant to Contractors, Owners and Lawyers regarding contractual matters.  This includes the assessment and formulation of variation, delay, prolongation, disruption and acceleration claims and the preparation of expert reports for dispute resolution processes including facilitation, mediation, arbitration and litigation proceedings.  He also provides commercial advice to clients regarding tender and contract documentation and contract administration.  Recent projects include:

Gary is an experienced safety manager and facilitator, obtaining formal qualifications in OHS management, emergency management / response and training.  Gary started his career with NSW Police, specialising in search and rescue, and then continued in training roles with NSW SES.  He then moved into a safety / emergency role in open cut and underground coal mining in central Queensland.  Gary continued his career in safety consultative services and training roles in Victoria, and in 2001 returned to Queensland. Gary joined a major fire company taking on national roles in environmental health and safety, staff development and the role of General Manager-Training, managing a team of 40, providing safety and emergency response training into the construction, petro-chemical, mining and oil and gas industries.  Gary leads our Safety Excellence team, bringing a wealth of experience in emergency management, occupational health and safety, risk management, development and evaluation of management systems/plans, and adult education.  Key projects include:
