The Evans & Peck Perth office provides a range of services to clients with a focus on the mining and resources sector. Some key mining and resources projects include Oxiana’s Prominent Hill copper project in South Australia, the proposed Oakajee Deep Water Port Development and CSBP’s Kwinana Ammonium Nitrate Plant 2, and Xtrata Zinc’s zinc lead concentrator expansion project in Queensland’s North West Minerals Province. The full spectrum of services has been provided to the mining and resource-based industries, from the detailed pre-feasibility and definitive feasibility phases at the front end right through to the implementation and operation of major mining projects.

The water sector is also a steady source of work for our Perth office. Support services have been provided for Water Corporation on the Alkimos Wastewater Scheme Alliance Project and contract strategy advice and assistance provided for their desalination plant. For Harvey Water Operation, a safety management plan was prepared and strategic and corporate planning facilitation conducted for their Corporate Planning. Other key water projects include a review of capital program and delivery alternatives for South Australian Water’s desalination plant in Adelaide and alliance project bid support and risk analysis for the Southern SeaWater Alliance.
