Experience

Evans & Peck’s Business Consulting Team has worked with a variety of organisations implementing major business improvement reforms. 

Recent initiatives include:

• Leading an organisational review and restructure of a large federal government agency that provides services, infrastructure and facilities to support over 90,000 people.  This involved an annual budget of approximately $2billion and a portfolio of 40 properties, 25,500 assets and millions of hectares of land.
• Implementing an organisational review and asset management strategy for a large government agency to more efficiently maintain its infrastructure while planning and providing for its future development.  Potential savings were identified in excess of $35million per annum.
• Assisting a resource utility to develop an IT strategy to align recent structural changes with their corporate responsibilities. This included a project management process, risk management framework and suite of policies to support implementation.
• Designing an organisational structure and systems to enable a large transport infrastructure State Owned Corporation to effectively deliver current major projects valued at over $11 billion without diminishing quality standards.  We assisted in developing corporate strategy, facilitating the business planning process, reviewing IT infrastructure to develop a new strategy, reviewing project management maturity, and developing a project management governance and competency framework.
• Partnering with a resource utility to assist their transition to commercialisation as a State Owned Corporation. This involved defining strategies and an integrated business approach to achieve their corporate objectives.
