SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is increasingly becoming a critical concern for both Industry and Government.
Evans & Peck possesses the practical, technical and strategic skills to assist clients with the challenges of rapidly changing expectations.
Evans and Peck’s sustainability services are delivered through six lines of public and private sector activity:
- at the corporate level of an organisation’s operations and systems
- across landscapes through natural resource management
- through sustainable construction within the built environment
- through cleaner production within manufacturing and other business enterprises
- through infrastructure development and upgrades including adaptations to climate change
- in establishing the carbon economy.
An ability to respond effectively and rapidly to the evolving Government requirements associated with complex concepts is a prerequisite to managing the planning, delivery and operational aspects of sustainability. Environmental and social factors together with reforms to regulatory approval processes have become clear market drivers. Environmental factors can represent high risk issues which often lead to delays, negative publicity and cost overruns. These issues need to be identified early and carefully mitigated and managed all the way through rom project conception to project completion and sometimes well beyond.
Evans & Peck delivers positive outcomes by assessing the sustainability status of the project and developing management strategies that are appropriate and cost effective.
We combine experience and understanding of the environmental, social, financial, regulatory and contractual issues facing clients with expertise in risk management, contract and project management.
In particular, we assist our clients to identify and understand the issues they are facing; investigate ways forward; develop strategic goals and action plans; and communicate these goals to the client's stakeholders.
