Peter is a Principal of Evans & Peck. He is also a Director of the Alliancing Association of Australasia. He has a First Class Honours degree in Civil Engineering and a Computer Science degree. Peter is a qualified Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Chartered Engineer and an Alumnus of Australian Graduate School of Management. He has held Project Director, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Design Manager and numerous consulting roles on the delivery of major projects in Australia, U.K., Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. He has advised extensively on the improvement of business performance in the engineering, utilities and construction industries. Peter has led, facilitated, or participated in the development of the delivery strategy for and/or delivered well over $20 billion of capital works in water, rail, road, resources, building and land development projects over his career. Peter lectured for 6 years at the University of New South Wales in the Master of Construction Management course and has regularly contributed to industry conferences on project improvement topics such as stakeholder management, risk management and analysis and Alliancing. Setting up infrastructure projects and businesses for success is Peter’s professional passion. Peter is looking forward to making a significant contribution to entrenching effective collaboration into infrastructure delivery and to unlocking and delivering the next generation of infrastructure assets – intelligent transport, sustainable water delivery and sustainable energy.

With over 28 years of commercial and project management experience in the engineering and construction sector including the petrochemical, oil and gas, mining, power, water and automation industries. David has recently advised clients in the areas of procurement and delivery strategy; due diligence work, business case development, contract claims, asset valuation and risk management. David recently filled project roles including the Commercial Manager on the Sydney Desalination Plant and the financiers Independent Engineer on several major gas pipeline projects. |

Natalie has focused her career on
significantly changing and improving performance in a range of organisations in
the health, manufacturing, retail and property sectors. She originally qualified
as a nurse and then gained experience in health education, before specialising
in systems development and organisational change management. An experienced
executive manager, she has worked in Australia and the United Kingdom,
facilitating change in challenging environments, turning poor performing
divisions into critical business units & building effective stakeholder
relationships. She has led geographically dispersed property development teams
in acquisitions, disposals, design & construction programs. Most recently, she led the implementation of the organisational
restructure of Resitech, Housing NSW’s in-house property division, responsible
for design, construction, acquisition and disposal works to the value of $500m
annually, along with leading Evans & Peck’s involvement in Project Agility,
a group wide organisational improvement project of WorleyParsons.

In addition, he has given presentations at national and international forums. He was Chairman of Austroads.

Eva is a
qualified engineer with broad general management experience. She has experience
in project and program management, business and operations management, mergers
and acquisitions, alliances, corporate strategy and business planning, contract
and commercial negotiation and transformational change projects.
She has over
10 years experience working in the civil engineering, transport, mining,
construction and utilities industry sectors for major contractors including
Thiess, Bilfinger Berger, Asciano and Brookfield Multiplex. She has consulted as
an industry expert to a range of government clients including the RTA, TIDC,
Department of Defence, NSW Health, NSW Housing and RailCorp.

Over 35 years experience of managing projects, contract management and financial control. Prior to joining EPM in 1999 he was the Project Director of a Perth company involved in managing sub-contracts for work in Malaysia. After cancellation of a sub-contract Graeme gained extensive experience in a major international arbitration, assisting teams of legal advisors. This experience coupled with his overall involvement in general and contract management, and financial control, has given him a breadth of experience in project management and litigation support.

39 years experience in the construction industry in Australia and overseas working with major Australian and multinational contractors, with involvement up to the most senior level in all facets of project management of major projects including large diameter tunnels, balanced cantilever bridges and offshore marine installations, management of tender preparation for major projects, divisional management, business development, and cost estimating and planning.

Paul has more than 20 years experience in the delivery of infrastructure and building projects, which has included work with both client organisations and contractors.The early part of Paul’s career included work on a variety of construction projects, in contractor site based roles.
After joining E&P, Paul continued to be involved in the design and construction stages of projects. In addition, he spent time working in the contractual disputes area and gained significant experience in the preparation, review and analysis of contractual claims and expert witness reports.Since then, Paul has taken the knowledge and skills gained in the design, construction and contract close out project stages and successfully used them to assist various government agencies on the procurement of a number of major infrastructure projects, ranging in size from less than $1m to over $1.5b.

Prior to joining Evans and Peck, Brian has had extensive experience in Bovis Lend Lease in major projects, including Water and Waste Water, Rail, Industrial, Retail and also Commercial and general building projects. His main area of expertise is Cost Planning, but also expertise in Value Management, Tender Strategy, Procurement and Design Management. Brian has experience in process re-engineering of the Cost Planning function, along with associated systems and knowledge management.

Stuart has extensive experience in leading complex engineering projects in which reconciliation of differing views is a key element. In over thirty years, he has designed, built, managed and directed a wide portfolio of projects including bridges, tunnels, naval vessels, sports facilities, waste management facilities and high rise buildings. He has a broad view of the Australian political economy and has a comprehensive understanding of climate change, the carbon economy, the emissions management landscape, renewable power generation and sustainability metrics. He led a team of distinguished academics in preparation of advice on auctioning emission permits. He excels as a communicator and in bringing together the disparate threads of an issue. |

Ian has provided consulting services on a wide range of infrastructure, building and systems integration projects throughout Australia and South East Asia. His experience prior to joining Evans & Peck in 1987 was in project management and engineering in construction contracting. This involved major civil engineering and multi disciplinary resources, transportation, power and industrial infrastructure projects throughout Australia and in Hong Kong. Ian is frequently retained in “trouble shooting”, independent review, expert witness and due diligence roles and has considerable experience in analysis of the reasons for project delivery problems, including complex delay analysis. He is graded as an Arbitrator and is an experienced expert witness, presenter and facilitator. Ian is also Chairman of the Industry Advisory Committee to the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of New South Wales. |

Over a career of nearly 20 years in systems engineering, Andrew has worked in the areas of defence, building automation, industrial control, rail automation and intelligent transport systems. He has participated at many levels in sophisticated and complex projects involving large scale software development, safety systems, distributed real time technologies as well as mobile and remote area communications. Andrew is a strong business leader having fulfilled business development and senior management roles over the last 9 years. Andrew has recently started up Siemens’ Intelligent Transport Systems business in Australia. Prior to this, Andrew was an Executive Director at Ripple Systems Pty Ltd where he was in charge of Business Development, Quality and IP Management for the company. An energetic and focused individual, Andrew has extensive management and engineering skills. He has successfully secured many millions of dollars of business for companies he has worked for, dramatically improved company processes and demonstrated finesse in leading and motivating both engineering and sales staff. His presentation skills, deep industry experience, people management skills and commercial acumen are well proven.

Principal
Ray has over 30 years experience in project management and coordination, gained as a project manager and project director on major rail, road, institutional and industrial infrastructure in Australia and Asia. Ray’s experience has also included industrial buildings, hospitals, factories, bulk materials handling, and port development, covering all stages of development from conception to completion. Such complex projects have involved broad strategic thinking to integrate the civil/structural components and extensive mechanical, electrical, electronic, safety, control and communication systems. Ray has managed significant interaction with project owners and proponents taking responsibility for technical, commercial/contractual and external environmental aspects. |

Michael has 25 years experience gained in civil construction, both project delivery & procurement. His major project experience has focused on tunnels, roads, bridges & airports. Michael is experienced in project management, design management, managing tenders, and technical management on various BOOT, design & construct, construct only, and alliance contracts, as well as project management of D&C project teams constructing urban roadworks, bridgeworks, cut & cover tunnels, viaducts, ventilation structures and concrete pavements. His strengths are successful delivery of major projects to time, cost and quality targets.

Dr Perrens is an environmental engineer with over 40 years experience in consulting and applied research related to water resource assessment, engineering hydrology and natural resource management. In particular, Steve has extensive experience in hydrologic modelling for water resource assessment purposes. Steve has consulting experience throughout Australia and has extensive overseas experience, particularly in Southeast Asia, including assignments for United Nations and other international agencies. He has managed a range of major projects including the design of water resource systems for irrigation, water supply and power generation; integrated water servicing strategies for urban development, land rehabilitation for mines, quarries, landfills and industrial sites; integrated land and water management in urban and rural settings; stormwater quality control and effluent disposal; urban and rural floodplain management; environmental impact assessment and environmental management for industrial and mining projects. Steve is a recognised expert in water resources and catchment management. He has prepared and given evidence in the District Court, Supreme Court and Land & Environment Court and has presented evidence to Commissions of Inquiry. He has also provided specialist advice to all levels of government and international agencies.

Kay is the Evans & Peck Operations Manager – Project Advisory Economic Infrastructure in NSW and has approximately 20 years experience, the majority of which is associated with major infrastructure project transactions.
Kay has undertaken Transaction Management roles and led teams on major transport and telecommunications infrastructure projects, including the Port Botany Expansion, the Intermodal Logistics Centre at Enfield, North West Transitway, Sydney Metro, National Broadband Network (NBN) and North West Rail Link. Kay has recently provided advisory services to the Hancock Prospecting Roy Hill project and to other private resource sector infrastructure asset developers and operators.
Kay has completed the Australian Company Director’s Course and is a current Board Committee member for Gondwana Choirs.
As the sponsoring Principal for the Evans & Peck Undergraduate and Graduate Development Programs, Kay has led Evans & Peck’s initiative in relation to the under-representation of Indigenous Australian Engineers, with the development and implementation of the Evans & Peck Indigenous Australian Scholarship together with Evans & Peck’s ongoing support of Engineering Aid Australia’s summer program for Indigenous Australian’s from regional and remote Australia.

With a career that spans over 20 years in key positions for major multibillion multidiscipline projects in excess of 15 billion dollars in Australia, Middle East Latin America and overseas. Fernando has worked in the areas of mining, ports, chemical plants, material handling, rail, civil, building, roads, intelligent transport systems, power, offshore oil and gas, nuclear reactors, electricity network and water.
Fernando is a strong leader , customer and business oriented, and has fulfilled senior management roles with proven track record to bring together the key aspects of the commercial, finance, engineering, design, construction, and asset management worlds. During his career Fernando has been engaged in a large multibillion Project Portfolio Optimisation process for a major Electricity Company, multibillion dollar transaction for the operation, maintenance and enhancement of a Rail Network and a Banking Feasibility Study for a major multibillion dollar coal mining Pit to Port project.

Justin has extensive national and international social infrastructure PPP experience. Justin was formerly Director of Operations for Actus Lend Lease focussing on US Military Privatisation initiatives. Having enjoyed long careers with both Lend Lease Corporation and Macquarie bank, Justin has successfully led partnerships through tender negotiations, closings, asset transfer, delivery and then transition to steady-state facilities and asset management services. Asset types have included Military Family Housing accommodation, student accommodation, hospitals & health care services and car parking facilities. Justin has acted as Project & Development Director on many PPP projects including the privatisation of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and Parris Island, South Carolina and Fort Knox Family Housing, Kentucky.
In 2008, Justin also established and led a successful consortium for the Gold Coast University Hospital Car Park PPP. Projects have ranged from A$50m to US$2B. Justin has recently advised HNSW on program establishment and procurement strategies for the delivery of NSW Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan – housing. As Metropolitan Delivery Director for the program, Justin has been responsible for the design, cost planning, authority approvals, procurement and construction of over 6,500 new homes within 18 months. |

Brett has over 20 years experience as a Finance executive improving the performance of businesses and negotiating and implementing growth strategies in line with Board and external stakeholder requirements. Recently Brett was General Manager, Strategy Australia for the listed Transurban Group and CFO & Director of Commercial Development with the Roads & Traffic Authority in NSW. He also has over 10 years experience in the energy retail & distribution sector and water & wastewater industries. Much of Brett’s experience has included negotiations with external parties and stakeholders and managing complex internal implementation plans. Brett also has an intimate understanding of the Australian PPP and finance sectors, combining both the public and private sector perspectives.

Rob has over 30 years experience in the engineering industry, including road, rail, bridge, tunnel and industrial projects. Rob has extensive experience in the preparation of project documentation, tender assessment and the role of Superintendent and Principal's Representative.
As a qualified arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator, Rob has a particular interest in all forms of dispute resolution. He has prepared expert reports for litigation, arbitration and mediation and assisted clients with preparation of Security of Payment applications and responses.
